It all began in Yeldeğirmeni.

Pişi’s family of eleven cats together in their Yeldeğirmeni garden
Yeldeğirmeni · Before the journey Before the journey, all together.

A garden, nine siblings and a mother. That was Pişi’s whole world. When their garden was torn down and the family scattered across Istanbul, she was the first to go looking for them.

Now she follows her nose. From Kadıköy to Balat, from the Maiden’s Tower to Galata; catching ferries, helping neighbours and occasionally stopping for a patch of sunshine. With every reunion, another cat walks beside her.

On the way to the Maiden’s Tower From the game’s comic

One day, you row to the Maiden’s Tower. The next, you help serve baked potatoes in Ortaköy. An Istanbul cat has plenty to do.

Follow scents, help neighbours and find your siblings. Discover Istanbul through Pişi’s eyes across ten chapters.

Lunchtime in Ortaköy A neighbourhood grows through small kindnesses.

A bowl of water by a doorstep. A shared meal. A little space made for a cat. Small acts of kindness add up along Pişi’s journey.

This is a story about a cat looking for her family, and everyone sharing the city with her. About looking out for one another, remembering and coming together again.
